ABOUT (MAG + ORG)

BABA MAGAZINE

BABAMAG chronicles the independent business owners, artists, and cultural entrepreneurs who make Baltimore Avenue one of Philadelphia’s most distinctive commercial corridors.

Our mission is to draw attention to our district as one of Philadelphia’s top emerging business corridors, boasting its very own unique cultural identity and entrepreneurial spirit. We believe West Philadelphia’s strength lies in its economy. The retail shops, home-based enterprises, performance spaces, real estate developments, and neighborhood institutions reflect our community’s values of collaboration, innovation, and authentic culture.

Through people-centered storytelling, BABAMAG amplifies the voices shaping our corridor while connecting them to the resources, experiences, customers, and networks they need to thrive. We’ll also be your guide to the events, dining, music, and experiences that make Baltimore Avenue worth exploring.

Published by the Baltimore Avenue Business Association (a registered 501c6) and powered by Indie-Life Media, BABAMAG serves as both a magazine and a movement. It’s a platform where business, art, and community building meet.
